Tony Aloupis is a prolific writer with 11 screenplays under his belt. His directorial debut, SAFELIGHT (starring Evan Peters and Juno Temple), was released theatrically and digitally in July 2015 after playing at the Newport Beach International Film Festival and The Nashville Film Festival. His writing and producing debut, SUGAR (starring Shenae Grimes and Jonny Weston), won the “Film Heals” award at the Manhattan Film Festival and the “Community Visions” award at the Cinema At The Edge Independent Film Festival. “As a director, what is most exciting to me is to see what the actors, cinematographer and other creative collaborators bring to the story and to allow the film to have its own life.” Tony is currently in development on 2 feature films.
