Savanah Wiltfong – Seattle Shorts Film Festival

Savanah Wiltfong grew up in Anchorage and Eagle River, and at 15 years old, was as removed from Hollywood as it gets. In June 2009, Wiltfong walked down a red carpet in Los Angeles to attend a premiere for a movie in which she played the starring role. “Dear Lemon Lima” is an independent feature film directed by Suzi Yoonessi, about a half-Yup’ik girl navigating her way through a Fairbanks prep school and a broken heart.

Although the entire film takes place in Alaska, it was actually shot on location in Washington State, and around different parts of Seattle. “Dear Lemon Lima” features an all star-cast including Shayne Topp, Meaghan Jette Martin, Vanessa Marano, and Oscar winner Melissa Leo. “Dear Lemon Lima” is distributed international by Phase 4 Films. In 2012 Savanah co-starred in the independent thriller “Coldwood” playing the character of Simone, the story about a single mother Ashley who travels to Alaska to work with her Uncle Clive, a con man swindling money from people who believe their homes are haunted.

Savanah will be exclusively judging our newest category “College Student Shorts”.
