Sarah has been performing onstage through dance and theatre for her entire life, but shifted her focus to TV and Film several years ago when she moved to Seattle. Since then she has appeared in dozens of films, web series, music videos, commercials, and has given her voice to animated characters. Sarah was recently published in Self Management for Actors with an article entitled “Starting Out in a Smaller Market” praising the performing arts community in Seattle. Sarah will appear this fall on the brand new multi-media show called The Reel Deal, where she will represent Seattle on a short film team with a celebrity mentor. Earlier this year, she completed a short film in which she played twin sisters struggling with their relationship.
Sarah graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Theatre from Knox College, having participated in both the college’s unique Repertory Theatre term and a semester study abroad at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland. She double majored in Neuroscience and was working towards her Ph.D. in Genetics with two fellowships, when she shifted her energies to acting for good. Sarah is also an HIV/AIDS educator and will be the MC for the Orange County AIDS Walk in May 2014.
