Actress Lucy Walters attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she double majored in Theater and Dance and a Liberal Arts Honors degree called Plan II with a focus on Economics. She graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the Marcia Gay Harden Theater scholarship. After moving to NYC, Lucy gained notoriety as the Woman on the Subway in Steve McQueen’s film Shame (with Michael Fassbender).
Other feature film credits include the Brass Teapot, Growing Up and Other Lies, B-Side, Big Words, Bastards of Young, Lies I Told My Little Sister, and the short comedic two-hander Epilogue. Lucy has appeared on Bones, The Good Wife, 666 Park Avenue, Do No Harm, Rizzoli & Isles, Smash, White Collar, Army Wives, Blue Bloods, Gossip Girl, Lipstick Jungle. Currently she plays sexy, bad-girl Holly Weaver on Starz’ “Power” (from Executive Producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson), now filming it’s second season.
When not acting, Lucy finds joy in making music with her friends, writing, and learning. She is honored and thrilled to get to be a part
of the Seattle Shorts Film Festival 2015 jury.
